I found myself in Toluca once again… for this and that… a book fair and for La Feria del Alfeñique. Candy and culture. It’s a rich experience but my time in that city is beginning to wear on me and it’s time to step away.

…if something is not working… remove yourself… or remove ‘it’ from your life. Be in a healthy, encouraging, and inspirational environment.

as we wade through the swamp of life, we tend to pick up a parasite or two…

And without asking a question, I’m rewarded with answers… and all becomes clear… because it’s clarity that i am craving 🖤

So… the lovely bus women of Buenos Aires ushered me off the bus and in the right direction in an endearing way… like a baby bird… like a little lost California baby bird.

Hiking Acetenango

This was a layover in Peru that I extended a couple days just to check it out. Lima proper was a complete hornet’s nest and was glad that I set up camp South in the bohemian surf town of Barranco.

…when MrEvan would swerve within one inch of a light pole, or bridge railing, or motorcycle, or fruit stand… I would calmly pull my arm back in the window and then reinsert my arm hanging out the window (as you should do while riding shotgun in any 80s sedan) when the danger had passed. Zen by example.

I had sorted my gear and Indiana Jones Junior here forgot his lil’ Orphan Annie Decoder Ring (amongst other things) in Taos and you’re not getting far in travels without it. Try finding one of those in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Not happening!
