🇺🇸 SFO-DEN - Lost in the Urban Wilderness - 08.04.2026

I have never missed a flight in all of my days… until this day. I’ve had some cognition problems lately… I found myself on the wrong Muni leaving my downtown lunch and heading to grab my kit and then to the airport. I’ve taken that same ‘M’ Muni a dozen, prolly two dozen times in the last 2 months… and boop, I’m sitting on the ‘N’ and now the backtrack and my poor calculations force me to take an uber… that guy was late and ultimately canceled… and now I am definitely going to be late.

We all have places to be… but why stress? I just stood there calmly eating too many ginger candies while thinking about stuff. Luckily, I was rebooked for a flight one hour later… I use United and they have been consistently smooth, no late shaming, I get miles, priority boarding, free bag check (even with my ultra-economy ticket), and limited headaches. Frontier… the opposite. They will shame you for anything… free of charge… even though they would prefer to up-charge for that. Even after and 6 hour delay… and perpetual cancellations.

Anywho, I’ll be in Denver for a week. I’m bringing my tattoo gear if you want that ‘Hello Kitty’ on your ankle you’ve been talking about your whole life… I’m looking at you Kyle!
