🇲🇽 Valle de Bravo - 04.07.2026

In the last year… maybe 2 years… my time in CDMX has been about the people… my personal relationships with the Mexican people… and not so much the land… and there should be balance for a fulfilling experience.

I have learned much… and observed and validated what I was told and witnessed. There’s a surface layer of a misogynist culture… with a sublayer of a source of that. And below that… an undulating primordial swamp of reality that is childish, lacks integrity, double-standards, absurd hypocritical jealousies… of everyone playing and fucking everyone else… and claiming it starts at the surface layer. It’s a “what came first, the chicken or the egg?”

Fundamentally, I dislike it… and it annoys me… hearing the arguments, and complaints, and finger pointing… zero accountabilities… all while calling the kettle black… and in their gender packs… boost about their behavior. But on the other hand… it’s the depth of the social culture in Mexico… and I live here… so… join the party.

Unfortunately, it has worn on me… and compromised my ideals. So… in my remaining time (less than a month)… I will balance my experiences by focusing on the land… the places.

There is one person here that would hold me in this land… an artist… we have some unfinished business… and she ironically messaged me last week. Strange timing… but I have plan… several plans. Several set plans… so…

Valle de Bravo. Its a pueblo high on my list of places I’ve been wanting to visit for quite some time. And now is the time. This and 2 more adventures… and I move my life out of Distrito Federal.
