Gypsum sand dunes. Damnnnnn… you are so cool planet earth. Let’s hang out all of the time. Start a motorcycle gang… get matching leather jackets… make up our own rules… live life on our terms. And SteveMcQueen jump our motorbikes over all’thee fences. All day and everyday!!!
From a horse trailer loading parking lot I hiked West for an hour and half and then finally rested at the top of a sand dune - I saw no more footprints. Big feels. This place hit me deep in my ultramarine blue chakra - wherever that is… just
I did ping my location at the start so I managed to find my way back. Thank you Google maps.
I passed Las Cruces on the way and way back. It’s one small centimeter away from Mexico1.0 on the map. Less than an hour drive. I began to contemplate. “Shit, I left my passport in the apartment. I have my passport card… that’ll work. Oh man, I left my snack box behind. Out!!!!” Otra día, Mexico1.0.
Plus, I have an important appointment to keep in T or C. And there’s some people in the capital of Mexico2.0 that I want to see sooner than later. Annnd my P.O. Box in Ohkay Owingeh has my micro-spikes waiting because Epstein was so kind as to ship them down. Okay then… Two more stops and start heading North.

Because sometimes I assume everyone has seen the same movies as me.
*** SteveMcQueen Motorcycle Jump:
“The Great Escape” is a 1963 American World War II epic film that depicts an escape by British Commonwealth prisoners of war from a German POW camp. McQueen performed all of his own motorcycle stunts in The Great Escape with the exception of his character’s final jump over a 6ft (1.8m) barbed wire fence, performed by his stunt double, Bud Etkins. ***
