🇲🇽 Malinalco Pueblo Mágico - 02.08.2025
A last minute round of adventure to Malinalco Pueblo mágico in the State of Mexico with GildaMonster. One peaceful nature cabin. Churches, chelas, pulque drinks and local museums. 300 steps to the temple of the ocelot/eagle warrior. Barbacoa breakfast tacos.
Mostly… walking around… or me watching my compañera play with her phone… or listening to mocking comments about my age, my height, or my whitey skin. How fun for me. She appears to be perpetually bored with my company… and it’s confusing to me why she continues to request my company. I find it awkward when I’m with a person that carries energy they would rather be elsewhere… or with someone else. I don’t know… maybe she’s always bored.
There were a few cool moments… and I’m not sure if I’d make it to Malinalco without this invite. And I value the experience and adventure is always on the menu… but I don’t think there will be a repeat with this Tolucana frÃa.
I once again have to say aloha to Mexico. It’s a required exit. My passport expires and I need a 6 week window of U.S. presence to renew it. Now… I leave a jacket behind and drive my rental car straight to the airport… one sleep… and wake up in the beautiful Bay Area.

Pulque is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented sap of the maguey plant. Apio (celery was a surprise and excellent) It will make you a little dizzy… in a good way.
