šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø - Berkeley, CA - Greek Theater with Lord Huron - 10.16.2025

When I’ve exhausted myself

And I can’t take another step

I want to peacfully rest

on the side of a glowing volcano

Feeling the warmth on my back

Waiting for my last sleep

I want to be thinking

Of all the things I have done

And not… the things I haven’t

šŸ”„šŸŒ‹

I woke up at 1:00am in Mexico City to catch a 5:00am flight to SF. I had cashed in my emergency ā€˜get-out-of-Mexico’ plane ticket. Wrangled a cat sit. Bought a concert ticket for my fav LA band. After being searched for drugs at MEX (again) and a 4 hour flight; I arrive at SFO at 9:00am. Checked my mail in the Mission. Short nap. One bus and two trains and I arrive in downtown Berkeley. Walk to the Greek Theater. And by 9:00pm Pacific… I’m witnessing a spectacular show. Not just guys playing their songs… an artfully crafted experience. It all matches my ethos. And without asking a question, I’m rewarded with answers… and all becomes clear… because it’s clarity that i am craving šŸ–¤

Song: Lord Huron

I am not the only traveler

Who has not repaid his debt

I've been searching for a trail to follow again

Take me back to the night we met

And then I can tell myself

What the hell I'm supposed to do

And then I can tell myself

Not to ride along with you

I had all and then most of you

Some and now none of you

Take me back to the night we met

I don't know what I'm supposed to do

Haunted by the ghost of you

Oh, take me back to the night we met

When the night was full of terrors

And your eyes were filled with tears

When you had not touched me yet

Oh, take me back to the night we met

I had all and then most of you

Some and now none of you

Take me back to the night we met

I don't know what I'm supposed to do

Haunted by the ghost of you

Take me back to the night we met
